Updates all around

I wanted to give everyone a status update. I tried to give you a similar post last weekend, but my computer crashed right in the middle and I lost it all. My apologies. I've run away to Seattle. Just this week I started a 3 month internship at a prominent branding agency up here in Washington. While I'm in town I'll be living with my cousin in his very nice and spacious townhouse. He has several pets and, so far, I get along with most of them. I'm driving too and from work because the transit system up here is, in a word, unreliable. Even in heavy traffic, it's a 25-30 minute drive. The bus, however, is over an hour to work and almost 2 hours coming back from work. If I happen to miss the bus, it's a 45 minute wait (yes, during the morning rush) for the next bus. The same goes for the return trip. Driving really isn't as bad as everyone lead me to believe. The hardest part with everything is getting used to a new place. I still don't know anyone in town and really don't know my way around. Hopefully, the next week or two will let me meet more people in town and get to know the area a bit more. This first weekend with nothing to do and no one to talk to has been a real killer.
